• 4/8/07 We Have a Reprieve We
have been heard. Thanks to our letters, petitions, perseverance, and
most of all to the folks that go to the meetings and speak on behalf
of the DRC explaining our position on the dam management, the FFMP has
been postponed until July. Carol Collier, Executive Director,
DRBC stated in effect: Due to the enormous amount of comments
concerning the FFMP, we are delaying a vote on the plan until our meeting
in July. July 18th. We will be working on a plan to better balance the
needs of all the competing factions on the Delaware. Until that time,
the DRBC will extend the current Amended Temporary Spill Mitigation
Program and the Tailwaters Habitat Protection & Discharge Management
Program (THPDMP) until the July timeframe.
