AS THE  RIVER FLOWS...
For members to express views, concerns or what's on your mind.

In March we will had trustee elections and appointment of officers. The present officers and trustees are as follows:
President: Dinah Rush
Vice President: Nancy Knott
Secretary: Nancy Shappell
Treasurer: Mary Jane Grande
Trustees: Mike Reismeier, Howard Steckel, Dave Ripka, Michael Caccavella

We need help!!  If you are interested in any office or trusteeship please let one of the officers know.

Dues are now overdue for those who have not paid their 2009 dues. If you joined in December 2008 you are paid up for 2009. WE NOW HAVE A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP. DUES AS FOLLOWS: $20.00 PER PERSON AND $10.00 PER EXTRA FAMILY MEMBER. CHILDREN FREE.

Get Involved!!  We are making headway and need you to get involved.  Run for Office or get on a committee.  Together we can make a difference!

Please help us to help you!

This organization is non-profit and volunteer, however we have the hydrologist expense and we have purchased a DLP projector and screen to assist in giving presentations to various groups and political organizations more professionally. Your money goes for these expenses.

In addition, we need committee help. We presently have the following committees: Membership; Flood; Education (both public and legislative); Fund Raising; Port Captain; Pollution and the Web Site. Some committees need help. We also need volunteers with expertise in accounting, editing, marketing, public relations, engineering, law and research (looking up information). For instance, if anyone would like to gather information on the NYC water supply system and/or the reservoirs, aqueducts etc., it could be helpful. The Lehigh River, as well as the smaller feeders could use research as well.

If you feel you do not qualify for the above positions you can help just by attending various meetings to help convince the controlling organizations that we need flood control immediately. Get involved in reducing the flooding.
